Interview With Plug-In Profit Site Member Bill Shultz

Some people do not liked to be interviewed. Bill Shultz is not one of them. I posted in the forum that I wanted people to step up to the plate and put themselves on the News blog so the world can know who they are. Bill took the challenge and has definitely stepped up his home business game in the past few months.

He has become a very visible contributor to the Plug-In Profit Site Forum and is on the right track mentally and focused to achieve IM success with the PIPS Program. Plug-In Profit Site members take note. If you have not stepped up to the challenge, do so. Break the chains of your comfort zone as Bill and others before him have done and take that next step to home business freedom.

Bill, please tell us about yourself, how you came across the Plug-In Profit Site and why you joined?

"I was in SFI and was checking out the leader board, when I read about Stone Evans I just had to see what he does to succeed. I read his site, I know at least 10 times! I liked what he offered and what he seemed to be about.

11 months later, I’m still here! I have learned a lot and I would do it all over again. Although, I would do things a little differently….I would first make a budget (very important when starting out) and I would have concentrated more on article marketing at the beginning.

The reason why I started with PIPS was I wanted to get out of the rat race. I was tired of changing time for money! I wanted to have the free time to spend with my better half Karen and our now 7-year-old son Nathan (Nate-Dog).

You see I would have to get up at 5:00 am and work sometimes until 7:00 or 8:00 pm, not leaving much time to spend with my family. To wake up and (this might be silly to some) eat breakfast with my family. I really like being home and hearing how Nathan’s day at school was when he gets home.

What has been the most challenging aspect of PIPS and Internet Marketing so far?

"I would have to say I had the same problem that most people have when they first start out… Traffic! Since I first started out I have learned what tactics work better for me and am now getting good traffic from the search engines."

What has been the most rewarding?

"The most rewarding for me was when I was number one in MSN for my keywords. That would be natural traffic, not from PPC! The best part is, my keywords have a lot of competition!

If you could say one thing about PIPS to a total stranger, what would that be?

"I would tell them if they were serious about starting an Internet business, this is where you should start. I would also make sure they understand that building a business from the Internet takes time and it does involve work.

The most important thing they need to know is making a budget and stick with it! Give your business time to build momentum and you will be very happy with the results."

What would you like to see from PIPS in the future?

"That’s a good question...I would probably like to see a more productive co-op, maybe having a lead capture program - when the prospect fills out the form to receive more information on starting an Internet business they’d be directed to each persons own auto-responder automatically."
